Welcome!
Hi, I'm Koi! It's great to meet you.
I'm an environmental project manager who decided to make a change from working in stuffy government and nonprofit offices to freeing remote and outdoor projects. I started my nomad journey working as a camp host in Patapsco, Maryland, before I moved across the country to start working at music festivals and Burning Man.
I'm also a mobile loctician, which means I spend some of my time traveling to clients to spread smiles through hair.
Along with running Queer Vagabond, I am also a newly published author.
My goal is to help promote forward movement in outdoor spaces and live events towards full accessibility and diversity by giving everyone the inspiration and tools to create their own adventure.
I love self expression, hiking, music festivals, and Burning Man, and want to show that celebrating diversity in the outdoors makes it better for everyone.
